"I gave her my heart... and she gave me a pen." I think that there must be a sick sick basic cable law that states that at least one channel must play Say Anything a minimum of 6 times a month. They know that there is a hefty chunk of the population that is as paralyzed by it as they would be by your basic neurotoxin and must stop and watch it, even if they have better things to do(... I bet Nestle's in on it too, souless, off-tasting Hershey's wanna-bes). If I ever come down with a debilitating illness that keeps me bedridden, I'm going to devote my final days to proving and documenting this. Until then, basic cable, until then...

went to a crazy hippie drum circle the other night, celebrated the Spring with a belly dancer, drank natural tonics in a full skirt, saw intimidatingly cool chick from my painting class, she spoke to me, as did the too-cute-to-be-vegan waiter. i don't think i mind hippies as much anymore. but i will always eat meat and any unnatural things that happen to taste good to me.
